Squids Dive Co offers personalised snorkelling, scuba diving, freediving, spearfishing, and guided ocean experiences across Port Stephens, including Fly Point Marine Reserve, Little Beach, Boat Harbour, Cabbage Tree Island, and Broughton Island. Unlike larger dive shops, we keep our groups intentionally small so we can tailor each session to your experience level — whether you’re building confidence, photographing marine life, or progressing your diving skills.

Built by Ocean People
Squids Dive Co wasn’t created to be another cookie-cutter dive shop or high-volume tourist operation. It was built by two locals genuinely obsessed with the ocean, adventure, and helping people discover what’s possible underwater. From the very beginning, our vision was simple: create the kind of dive company we’d actually want to book ourselves — small groups, real coaching, relaxed vibes and unforgettable experiences in the water. What started as a simple idea has grown into a passionate ocean community based in beautiful Port Stephens, bringing together divers, snorkelers, freedivers, spearos, and ocean lovers who feel most alive by the sea.

We offer high-quality snorkel, scuba, and freediving gear hire in Port Stephens, with equipment we genuinely trust and dive ourselves. Our scuba setups include HOG backplate & wing systems with long hose options available for divers looking to progress into advanced or technical-style diving. We also stock super warm Cressi wetsuits designed for comfort during longer sessions in the water, plus quality masks, fins, BCDs, regulators, weights, torches, and more. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver, we’ll help fit you out with the right gear for the conditions and your experience level.
CERTIFICATIONS
From first-time divers to advanced training, our certifications are designed to feel supportive, personalised, and confidence-building. Small class sizes, real coaching, and local ocean experience make learning with Squids Dive Co different from your typical dive shop.
