Squids Dive Co - Terms and Conditions for Dive Sessions
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the participation in any dive sessions, courses, and related activities offered by Squids Dive Co. By booking or participating in our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read carefully.
1. Eligibility
1.1 All participants must be at least 18 years old or have written parental/guardian consent if under 18.
1.2 Participants must complete a medical questionnaire prior to any dive session.
1.3 You must disclose any medical conditions, medications, or other health-related issues that could impact your safety during the dive. Failure to do so may result in being unable to participate in the session.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
2.2 Payments can be made through our website or directly via bank transfer.
2.3 All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Squids Dive Co.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1 Cancellations made 7 days or more before the session are eligible for a full refund.
3.2 Cancellations made within 3-6 days will receive a 50% refund.
3.3 Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the session are non-refundable.
3.4 In the event of extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances, Squids Dive Co reserves the right to reschedule the session. Participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
4. Safety Requirements
4.1 All participants must adhere to the safety instructions given by the instructor or dive guides at all times.
4.2 Participants must have the required certification or experience level for certain sessions (such as advanced depth dives).
4.3 Failure to comply with safety guidelines may result in exclusion from the session without a refund.
4.4 Squids Dive Co reserves the right to refuse participation if the safety or well-being of others is at risk.
5. Liability and Insurance
5.1 Squids Dive Co will take all reasonable steps to ensure your safety during the session, but participation is at your own risk.
5.2 Squids Dive Co is not liable for any injury, death, loss, or damage incurred during or after the dive session, except where caused by our negligence.
5.3 All participants are strongly encouraged to have personal dive insurance covering the risks associated with freediving and/or spearfishing.
6. Equipment
6.1 Participants are responsible for bringing and maintaining their own dive equipment, unless renting from Squids Dive Co.
6.2 If renting equipment, it must be returned in the same condition as received. Damages or loss will incur repair or replacement fees.
6.3 Participants must ensure that their equipment is fit for purpose and complies with Squids Dive Co safety standards.
7. Media Consent
7.1 By participating in Squids Dive Co sessions, you consent to photos and videos being taken of you during the session, which may be used for promotional purposes on social media, our website, or other marketing materials.
7.2 If you do not wish to appear in any media, please inform us in writing before the session begins.
8. Code of Conduct
8.1 We encourage a respectful and supportive environment for all participants. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the session without a refund.
9. Changes to Terms
9.1 Squids Dive Co reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes prior to their session.
